Testimonials

I loved it! I was very impressed with the trainer. He was very knowledgeable about the subject. He explained his points clearly and then reinforced them with an example every time. This gave me time to digest the information/ concept and then consider how it applied and was relevant to a real world situation that I understood.
There was no waffle or filler. All of the information was highly relevant and was applied to situations specific to my sector- Local Government. I was left wanting more – I intend to go away and block out my afternoon to apply these principles to work I am doing now in my role. I think what I learned in the last 3 hours will be incredibly useful to me for probably the rest of my career.
The course could perhaps have been a little longer to have spent more time exploring and expanding on some of the examples, but for a whistle stop tour, it was excellent. The session its self was managed very well, breakout room transitions were seamless and timings were kept to and managed. The breakout questions stimulated some very interesting conversations within the groups, and ensured everyone engaged and contributed. I would very much recommend this course. I feel cleverer just from attending.
J Berreen, Crawley Borough Council – May 2025

I really enjoyed the course and found the models used were very useful in testing ideas. Richard was very approachable and engaging in his delivery and encouraged us to be engaged and apply thinking. I would recommend the course to any Local Government Officer involved in projects and/or creating business cases.
M Bristow – Chichester District Council – May 2025

R Toennessen – Lambeth Borough Council – September 2024

This was a really interesting and engaging course that felt applicable to my work area and that made me think differently about my current projects.
R Parker – Lambeth Borough Council – Sept 2023

One of the most informative training sessions I have ever done.
When the question of ‘application of knowledge learned within your role’ comes up within these feedback surveys, I often click yes without really thinking of how I might apply my learning in practice. However after this session I can emphatically confirm this is the case – I am definitely going to use this in my role. Please pass my thanks on to Richard – will be recommending this course to colleagues.
